Privacy Policy

Invisible Texts (invisibletexts.org) is a collection of free online Unicode tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: our tools run entirely in your browser, we do not require accounts, and we collect as little data as possible.

Last updated: November 2026. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@invisibletexts.org.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

We do not ask you to create an account, and most of our tools work without you providing any personal information at all. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us — for example, your name and email address if you contact us through our contact page or by email. We use that information solely to respond to your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the time of your visit. These server logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding aggregate usage. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

What we do not collect

Text you type or paste into our tools — invisible characters you generate, text you convert to fancy fonts, or content you check — is processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. It is never sent to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with anyone. When you close the page, it is gone.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies, and only where needed for the site to function:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for basic site operation and security. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
  • Preference cookies — if we add features that remember your settings (such as a preferred tool), they may store that choice on your device.
  • Analytics cookies — we may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns (for example, which tools are popular). This data is statistical, not personal.

You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

Third-Party Services

Our site may rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate:

  • Hosting provider — serves our pages and may process server logs as described above.
  • Analytics provider — if enabled, collects aggregate, anonymized usage statistics.
  • Advertising partners — if we display ads in the future, ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. Any such partners will be listed here when active.

These providers have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the site or as required by law.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Invisible Texts is a general-audience tools site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@invisibletexts.org and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we collect so little, in most cases there will be nothing to access or delete — but we will honor every valid request. Contact us at hello@invisibletexts.org to exercise your rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
